Fellow readers, I have finally realized that reading two mangas and watching one anime movie per week isn't an easy way to maintain a blog. How do You fight Bad Guys?
A good Japanese character always has to defend himself with various techniques. In Naruto, by Masashi Kishimoto, the main character uses an altered version of Ju-Jitsu, one of the many Asian martial arts. In Fighting Spirit, a manga by Joji Morikawa, Ippo, a shy high school student becomes a famous boxer. However, many other mangas are concerned with judo, karate, and even some kung-fu!
Fast Food, The Japanese Style
In mangas or animes, you'll often find characters eating Ramen. Ramen is a small bowl of noodle soup Japanese take when they have a 15 minute lunch break. There are many different toppings but the most common one is sliced pork with a special kind of miso topping.
